  Trier University of Applied Sciences stands for practice-oriented learning, forward-looking research, and teaching. It is a place of innovation, artistic as well as scientific work. With around 7000 students, it is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Rhineland-Palatinate, located in the direct vicinity of Luxembourg and France. The diverse range of courses offered at the three campuses, Schneidershof, Campus Gestaltung, and Umwelt-Campus Birkenfeld, is unique in the region. The focus on artificial intelligence is reflected in the research areas "Intelligent Technologies for Sustainable Development" and "Life Sciences".
