Information about the Content

• The objective of the programme is to be able to work as a computer scientist in a media or web agency. Production and consuming of new and traditional media are impossible without information technology nowadays. Therefore, it is necessary not only to educate in the core topics of computer science but also in media specific subjects, e.g. web technologies, web development and application of media creation tools. Despite this specialisation the possibility to work as a “normal” computer scientist is guaranteed by an education in all important core subjects of computer science. The Bachelor programme targets both foundation and specialisation subjects. An additional objective is to prepare the students for a consecutive Master programme in computer science.
