Prof. Dr. Klaus-Uwe Gollmer

Klaus-Uwe Gollmer teaches and conducts research in the field of applied computer science at the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld of Trier University. His focus is on the Internet of Things (IoT), modeling/simulation, AI and its application in the field of sustainability. At the same time, he is involved at the interface of business, university, school and maker community. The IoT Workshop, a result of this overarching collaboration, makes the Internet of Things and Thinking tangible and increases the resilience of society in times of crisis (energy, heavy rain, pandemic, shortage of skilled workers).
