Prof. Dr. Stephan Didas

Stephan Didas is professor for programming and augmented reality at University of Applied Science Trier, Environmental Campus Birkenfeld. In his diploma and doctoral theses, he was working with mathematical foundations and new methods for digital image processing. As a researcher at Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics, he has been working as developer and project leader in numerous projects in research and industry for quality assurance and error detection with image analysis and different imaging methods. Stephan Didas was author and co-author of more than 30 publications, mostly in foundations and industrial applications of image analysis with more than 1.600 citations (as of November 2022).
