Basic Research

  • My research comprises modeling of high-dimensional data with copulas as well as machine learning, particularly neural nets and autoencoders. Moreover, I research application opportunities for copulas in machine learning. Furthermore, I am interested in Statistics, Data Science, simulation, and statistical methods for small samples.

Application related Research

  • To date, I conducted research projects with an application focus to engineering (e.g., hydrology, jet engines). I am generally interested in applications of copulas to any scientific domain.
