Prof. Dr. Dirk Schweim is a professor of business information systems, in particular application-oriented digital technologies.
Prof. Schweim researches the design, analysis, and application of algorithms to solve optimization problems. He is particularly concerned with evolutionary algorithms and artificial neural networks.
In research, Prof. Schweim works with various universities, including the University of Mainz, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, the Universidade de Coimbra, Portugal and the Universidad de Córdoba, Spain.
