The University of Koblenz is the youngest university in Germany – and at the same time grounded in a long academic tradition. Its ethos is expressed in the university’s motto “continue discovering”. Four profile areas bring this uniquely together: Education, Computer Sciences, Culture and Education, and Material and Environment. The special characteristic of computer sciences at Koblenz is its broad and closely intertwined spectrum consisting of core Computer Sciences, Computer Visualistic, Software Engineering, Web and Data Science, Information Systems and eGovernment, and Digital Business Management. AI are a common theme in research and teaching, its critical application is a particular emphasis.
