• Digitization, artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, the internet of things, virtual realities: All this will change our everyday life in the near future in a fundamental way.
  The degree program Applied Informatics takes this change into account.
  Become part of this exciting development and help shape the technological journey into the future. The program teaches you profound knowledge from programming to IT infrastructures. While you are still studying, you can put what you have learned into practice in companies or on the university level.
  
  In the first three semesters, you will focus on a wide range of topics such as programming, web and mobile technologies, databases and IT infrastructures. In addition, you will learn the basics of mathematics, languages, social skills and IT-related legal issues.
  The Expert Tracks offer you an in-depth look into technical and business management topics. You can put them together, largely according to your personal interests, from special optional compulsory modules. By means of fixed combinations of modules, you will receive a corresponding reference to the subject of your choice in your degree certificate: Business Informatics, Geoinformatics or Computer Vision.
  In addition, you will gain a wealth of practical experience and find out what it means to implement concrete projects in a team.
  The different modules of the program are limited in time. Each module is completed in the respective semester. During the lecture-free period, you will complete internships in companies - this guarantees a close integration of theory and practice.
