Prof. Dr. Marius Kloft is taking part in the networking workshop "AI meets biotechnology - where science and business shape the future together" organised by the WissKomm Academy and the Ministry of Science and Health (MWG) of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. As technologies of the future, biotechnology and artificial intelligence are at the centre of current scientific and social discourse, particularly in Rhineland-Palatinate. At a networking event on October, 30th 2023 at the Academy of Sciences and Literature, which will also be attended by Minister Clemens Hoch and State Biotechnology Coordinator Prof. Dr. Eckhard Thines, common questions will be discussed and challenges and possible solutions at the interface of these two scientific fields will be debated. The event will kick off with an opening discussion with representatives from science, business and state politics, followed by various parallel topic-specific workshops, which will serve as a question-oriented exchange between the participants on the individual topics. Finally, the results will be presented and discussed in a plenary session.
