At a workshop for teacher training in computer science at Schloss Dagstuhl (Leibniz Centre for Computer Science) in Wadern, Junior Professor Dr Sophie Fellenz will give a presentation on the topic of "Topic and language models: machine learning on text data".
Since the introduction of ChatGPT a good year ago, everyone has been talking about machine language processing. In this lecture, Ms Fellenz will give an introduction to topic and language models and how they work. Opportunities and risks, potential for misuse, application scenarios and potential future developments will also be considered.
The conference is aimed at experienced, well-trained computer science teachers from Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate. It aims to convey recent results and trends, update existing knowledge and discuss possible effects on curricular work and computer science teaching. Sufficient space will be provided for discussion.
