Minister President Alexander Schweitzer appoints Prof. Dr. Stefan Kramer as the second AI pilot of the AI Alliance Rhineland-Palatinate
The aim is to strengthen the synergies between biotechnology and AI in Rhineland-Palatinate. Prof. Dr. Stefan Kramer is an expert at the interface of AI and life science. As Professor of Data Mining and Machine Learning at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) and due to his scientific reputation and communication skills, he is ideally suited to the role of AI pilot. Alongside Prof. Dr. Anita Schöbel from Fraunhofer ITWM and the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University of Kaiserslautern, who has already been active for the state as an AI pilot on the topic of “AI and mobility” since November 2020, Prof. Dr. Stefan Kramer is now the second AI pilot in Rhineland-Palatinate.
