Daniel Görges is Professor of Electromobility in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau. His research focuses on machine learning concepts (including reinforcement learning) and control engineering methods (especially learning and distributed model predictive control) and their applications in assisted and automated driving, in networked traffic systems, in electrified and hybridized vehicles, in collaborative robotics, and in smart energy systems. A particular focus is on applications in the commercial vehicle sector (including digital farming and smart construction).
