  • Graduates of RPTU should be prepared for the future challenges of an “smart ecosystem” world by combining their main focus area, such as engineering, computer science, or economics, with competence in at least two additional related areas. For example, computer science students should also understand topics from engineering and economy & social sciences.

    Beginning with the summer semester of 2020 Master students of the following departments at the University of Kaiserslautern can certify their broad knowledge of “Digital Transformation” via an additional certificate “Digital Transformation”:

    • Electrical and Computer Engineering
    • Computer Science
    • Mechanical and Process Engineering
    • Business Studies and Economics

    The SIAK certificate is not a degree program and is also awarded by the departments of Mechanical and Process Engineering, Business Studies and Economics and Electrical and Computer Engineering at the RPTU.
