  The Start-up Office of the University Koblenz is the central institution for the topic of "spin-offs from science" at the University of Koblenz. In a holistic approach, it aims to strengthen and further develop the start-up culture at the University and due to this, it sensitises and qualifies students, researchers and academic staff for the topic of entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship and consults on any questions that arise regarding a spin-off. The start-up office has existed for about 12 years and emerged from the Department of Computer Science. There, the start-up office also supports the exploitation of AI-related research results on "Data Intelligence" in the form of start-up projects. To this end, it strives to continually expand the network to start-up-relevant stakeholders within and outside the university, especially in the region.
